From the announcement of our pregnancy to the news of our little boy being born, life has changed in the blink of an eye. Now he is six weeks old and doesn't fit into his newborn onesie on the clothesline anymore. It is amazing how fast time flies, and on the other hand, how long ago it all seems. I guess this is how it's going to be...welcome to the new world of parenthood!
No one can prepare you for what's in store from pregnancy to delivery, and becoming a mother. It was the most unbelievable experience that I have ever had. It wasn't easy and there are and always will be moments of struggle, but we work through them and take each day one at a time.
My husband Corey and I welcomed Hudson Brewster Fitch into the world on March 15th at 8:57am. He weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 21in long. He is now the 10th Generation on the Fitch Family Farm and we are so happy to be raising him in such a special place with so much family history.
Everyday Hudson surprises me; from holding his head up at 4 weeks to his focus changing and becoming more engaged with everything around him. He grows, grows, grows every day...now 11lbs 1oz at 6 weeks. Way to go Bubs!
I have met many people and they all say the same thing. Just breathe it all in. So I am taking their advice and with the help of my camera, I am documenting the moments that I do not want to miss. And as Mother's Day approaches I can definitely say that I am so thankful and happy to be a mother!
