What better way to spend a perfect morning in Seattle, Washington, with two adventurous boys, than searching the shoreline for crab. That was our mission one day last week. While Mom and Dad dove for Dungeness crab, Isaac and Carter searched the shoreline. We spent hours turning over rocks, digging in the sand, and playing by the water.
"Do they have pinchers?" Isaac would ask as he looked at me, tapping his pointer finger and thumb together. "Yes" I responded, "Ooh" he would reply with a big smile. It was so much fun spending time with my three and six year old nephews, doing something as simple as looking for crab. Their excitement was so pure. I love their creativity and imagination. All you need is two boys, two buckets, two shovels and the possibilities are endless. - Auntie D
